Introduction
Taking cognizance of the shared values, etiquette and understanding of British public school educated individuals, the founders decided to bring together all Tanzanians who attended a public school under one umbrella body to interact and give back to society. The shared experiences that shaped and moulded each individual; imparting in them a unique appreciation of life, must be harnessed for the benefit of society in Tanzania. The founders appreciated the unique characteristic of individuals who attended British public school and resolved to bring together this uniqueness for the greater good.
Taking into consideration this distinction, it is anticipated that as a group, certain ideals will be imparted to the community; in that vein, the founders anticipate that the group will support local charities and in the long-term establish their own and, help to establish Tanzanian branches of renowned British public schools.

Vision
 To bring together individuals with shared experiences having attended British public schools to interact socially whilst supporting charitable initiatives for the betterment and enrichment of Tanzanian society
Objectives
The group has 3 specific objectives:
- To bring together like-minded individuals to socialize, network and support charitable initiatives through various events;
- To establish its own charitable initiative;
- To assist in the establishment of branches of British public schools in Tanzania; and,
- Assist in the establishment of similar groups in other countries to create a global network.

Membership is open to all individuals aged 16 and above who have attended or are attending a British public school. Individuals under 16 years of age attending British public schools may join the Children’s’ Chapter with their parent’s consent.
